Location – 25372 N Lake Pleasant Pkwy, Peoria, AZ 85383

Job Type - Part time or Full time/10-hour shifts

Salary - $22-$30/hr *Depending on experience

The VetHaven Veterinary Services is on the hunt for experienced, veterinary technicians to join our privately owned practice nestled within a PetSmart store. Our mission? To provide top-notch care for our clients' cherished pets – and we believe you could be the perfect addition to our dedicated team.

As our new Veterinary Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our doctors, caring directly for our furry patients, and providing first-class service to their human families. You'll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment where teamwork is key, quick thinking is vital, and delivering care under pressure is all in a day's work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-level patient care and supervise other technical staff

- Induce and intubate patients for anesthetic procedures

- Manage anesthetic procedures and patient recovery

- Administer medications and vaccinations

- Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture

**What We're Looking For**:

- Active, unrestricted veterinary technician license or certification (Preferred)

- Solid understanding of veterinary medicine, practices, and procedures (including surgery and clinical)

- Stellar communication skills (both written and verbal)

- Proven track record of providing first-class customer service

- Flexible and willing to perform a variety of job duties within the hospital

- Team player with a friendly and positive attitude

- A keen learner with the initiative to broaden your knowledge

- 2 years of experience as a technician in a veterinary hospital (preferred)

- Dental experience a must
